Las Terranas - Eco resort/townWith investors on the rise, the beauty of the northern coast of the Dominican Republic is threaten. Building upon an existing inland town preserves the coast and increases revenue for the local community through sustainable practices and low impact development.
Baton Rouge - Government StreetGovernment Street is a main inlet for downtown Baton Rouge. The growth of the downtown area is growing and Government Street is far too fast for a pedestrian focused city. My plan looks at slowing traffic down and reclaiming its historical significance through revitalization of old staple buildings and plenty of plaza and park space.
Baton Rouge - Government StreetA look down Government Street with new park (right, once a parking lot) and brick paved roads, which slows traffic and gives an auditory signal of historic significance.
Baton Rouge - Government StreetA drive along Government Street with a the fire station to the right and widen sidewalks along the side for ease of pedestrian movement.
Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway - RedesignThe Rose Fitzgerald Greenway built above the "Big Dig" is a series of parks with their own identity but separated by multi-lane roads. My revision includes large skyway ramps that connect the parks to create a seamless experience. Highlights include grating above tunnel entrance/exit ramps to let the user feel the energy below and programming within the ramps to serve the user with food, lavatories and shops.
LSU Pleasant Hall - Pleasant ParkingA parking lot revision aimed at maintaining current number of spots, yet increasing the feeling and student accessibility to the buildings services.
